Public Pressure NFT Marketplace
User research, brand and full UI design for a European NFT marketplace selling audio and video, reshaped to sell in fiat as well as crypto.

Public Pressure set out to sell audio and video as NFTs and wanted to attract first-tier artists and labels, so the work leaned heavily on research and brand from the start. We needed a strong, modern identity that would read as credible to serious musicians, and an interface that made buying and collecting content feel as direct as any premium store, not like a technical crypto tool. That meant grounding the design in real user research and building a visual language bold enough to stand next to the artists it was showcasing.
Alongside the design work we ran a business and risk analysis of the model itself. During the project we came to see how sharp the NFT bubble could turn, and we recommended that Public Pressure accept fiat currency as well as cryptocurrency, which was not part of the original plan. The version shown here carries both options, with the emphasis on fiat, so the platform could keep selling to a wide audience whatever happened to the crypto market. That recommendation reshaped the product rather than just its screens.
The final deliverable was the complete UI design: the brand and visual system, and dozens of screens across desktop and mobile with every interaction and microinteraction defined. Public Pressure is a multinational with a presence across several European countries and its base mainly in Italy, and we worked closely with the whole team, including a CEO who stayed assertive and hands-on throughout, which kept the design decisions sharp and the direction clear.

Requirements
Create the brand and the full UI for a marketplace that sells audio and video content as NFTs, modern and credible enough to attract top-tier artists and labels, and easy to buy from for people who are not crypto natives. The work needed user research and a sound business and risk read of the NFT model, a complete visual identity, and a UI covering dozens of desktop and mobile screens with all interactions and microinteractions specified.
Strategies & techniques
User research · Business and risk analysis · Crypto and NFT advisory · Payment strategy (fiat and crypto) · Brand and visual identity · Information architecture · UI design · Interaction and microinteraction design · Responsive design
Tools
Ideation: user research, a business and risk analysis of the NFT model, and crypto and NFT advisory that shaped the move to a dual fiat and crypto payment model. Design and prototyping: brand and visual identity development, then Figma for the full UI across dozens of desktop and mobile screens, with interactions and microinteractions defined for each state. Handover: a design-only engagement, delivered as a complete UI and brand system for the client's team to build against.
Final results
We delivered a complete brand and UI design for Public Pressure: a strong, modern identity aimed at first-tier artists, and dozens of desktop and mobile screens with every interaction and microinteraction defined. The most consequential outcome was strategic as much as visual: our risk analysis led the company to accept fiat alongside crypto, with fiat emphasised, so the marketplace was not tied to the fortunes of the NFT market. The engagement was design only, with development carried out by the client’s side. Throughout, we worked in close step with the Public Pressure team and its CEO.
