  1. The Move to an SEO Agency
  2. From UX to an SEO Firm and Back

As of today May 19 2025, all our SEO, AEO, GEO and anything in teh intersection of AI and SEO , whether it is posts or services has been moved to Flamine AEO and SEO

You may have noticed that SEO posts are becoming more common on this blog. At the same time, many clients ask if we are an SEO agency.

While we are not exactly an SEO firm, it’s something we are doing more and more with great success, which leads to more clients on the SEO side of our business.

Right now, to be completely honest, our SEO operations exceed those of UI design, UX research, or web development for the first time ever. This obviously means we must pay special attention to that area.

Again, a candid admission: what was once the core of our business (UX research) is now the area where we get the least work. In a certain way, becoming an SEO agency is a byproduct of being a UX research company for years and our use of data-driven analysis. But it’s no secret that UX is currently in a lull, and even the big companies that championed UX maturity don’t seem to care about proper UX anymore.

Are We Becoming an SEO Agency? (UPDATE!) 1
We have some reasons to become a data-driven SEO agency, don’t you agree?

Does this mean we’re leaving the UX field? Not at all! Trends come and go, and with my new book coming out later this year, I’m confident that things will improve, both in UX research and UI design within our company.

The Move to an SEO Agency

Within this scenario, where Search Engine Optimization and WordPress Development literally take up between 60% and 70% of our tasks (with branding growing slowly but firmly), it just makes sense to become a more specialized SEO firm. This would be the most pragmatic and logical move.

Furthermore, many of the development tasks we do are for SEO-based reasons.

However, as I mentioned earlier, I’m not ready to give up on UX, and I probably never will. UX is a big part of my life, and I study, develop, and analyze user experiences every day, even for fun. When I’m bored or stressed, I visit UX resources or forums to learn something new or share my knowledge (which is another way of learning).

2,600 keywords and 78 in Top 3. Enough said.

But getting back to the subject of this post, it’s clear that to keep our company running, we need to go with the flow. And we’re fortunate enough to get more clients in an area that was always present, but as an added service. Now it’s our main area.

From UX to an SEO Firm and Back

I have written articles on SEO for several years, so this shift doesn’t come as a complete surprise. We have obviously been working in that area. There’s even a very interesting post on the influence of UX on SEO, complete with user cases, including one where we grew a company from 0 to 3 million dollars a month using UX-based SEO techniques.

And don’t get me wrong: please read that article, which was originally written in 2020 (with another great use case added in 2023), to understand that we’re not becoming an SEO agency out of the blue. It’s not as if we just said, “Well, we know how to work with data, so we can do SEO.”

NO. That would be a mistake.

We obviously base our strength on data-driven solutions because it’s what we’ve always done. But we’re really strong in all aspects of an SEO strategy.

Content creation? We’ve created well over 1,000 posts and pages for ourselves and our clients.

Technical SEO? That’s the main reason our clients hire us; we’re like the wizards of technical SEO (modestly speaking).

As an SEO agency, we should strive to be as good as possible, even for ourselves. Screenshot from Google Pagespeed.

On-site SEO? We don’t accept anything less than 100% perfect. Off-site? We’ve never purchased a single link, yet we (and our clients) have thousands of organic links and PR. (On a side note, I was just featured in Entrepreneur magazine a week ago at the time of writing this.)

Accessibility? Analytics? Automation? AI (Artificial Intelligence, not Adobe Illustrator—well, that too)? I write scientific papers and books on these subjects!

Results? We’re one of those rare SEO companies that can actually show guaranteed REAL results. And while SEO usually takes time, we tend to be much faster than average in achieving those results.

In short: we didn’t purposefully decide to become an SEO firm. But we’re well-prepared and have more than 10 years of experience to offer, so it’s time to play hard.

And finally: no, we’re not becoming an SEO agency. We’ll always be a UX company, but now with a big SEO department with strong roots in User Experience. And I think this will be a lot of fun!

See you in Google’s top 3 positions!
